Take the Pain Out Of Love and Then Love Won't Exist (Chapter 2)

Chapter 2

I stepped outside of the airplane, following Gabe. He was different...his attitude had changed on the plane...he was getting a lot more carefree and happier. It was cute though, and his mood was affecting mine...I felt relived to be away from Joe and Zach. And I would be for a couple weeks, until Joe decided to meet me at one of the stops on the tour.

Now of course he had done just about everything to keep me from going...he had been extremely pissed...but I was hoping it'd be worth it. 

"Come on, Audrey!" He pulled me through the crowds of rushing people to baggage claim. We had so much musical equipment it would take forever to pack up the bus, which was supposed to be meeting us here and taking us all to the first stop.

"Now," Gabe said as he stood near me at baggage claim, "Tonight, we're going to party. And you are going to participate. We don't start the shows until tomorrow, so we can be carefree and act like idiot. It's going to be a big family reunion. And I can't waiit for you to meet everyone."

I smiled. "Oh Gabe, you know me. I'd rather be watching the party on a TV monitor in my room."

"Well, it's going to be a bunk now." He chuckled.

The luggage carousel started moving. I saw my two bags and black guiatar case, and all of Gabe's stuff come out first.

"I'm stocked!!" He sang as he pulled his stuff off the conveyer belt. 

I giggled. 

"Aww, look at Audrey. You're happy!" He teased. "I'll find you a better man than that sissy you have now."

I laughed at the comment that normally would have pissed me off and made me defensive. "I'd like to see you try."

"It's a deal, if someone better comes along you owe me 20 bucks."

"It's a bet." We shook on it.

"Come on, I see Ryland over there. I bet the rest of them are waiting!"
